Betterbathrooms.com - anyone used them?

As in the title - has anyone any knowledge of betterbathrooms.com? I've been on the website looking for a new bathroom suite with a shower bath & screen and their prices seem very cheap. Am I just cynical? Is there a catch? The shower bath & screen I have looked at is £199 and appears to be made to the same spec as others costing much more, such as the Heritage Unity 1700 at £425 for the bath and £400 for the screen. I may have used a very expensive example there, but is there really such a difference in quality to reflect the huge price difference?

I used better bathrooms and found quality and service to be fab. Got curved whirlpool suite and vanity unit at UNDER half the shop price, it looks stunning and very expensive. Can't fault the quality and have recommended them to friends0

Yep. Overall I got everything cheaper then elsewhere, but God did I nearly loose my nerves with them. Also the prices look good, but I've never paid £35 delivery charge on £550 order before...
They sent everything O.K., but taps were different then I ordered, more expensive ones with missing bits. They were similar looking so before I realised they are different it took a while. Which was problem because there were bits missing and they kept sending me the wrong bits. Not to mention that I ordered matching sink tap and bath tap, but now I have each different (but you won't notice unless you look closely).
When it came to shower screen fitting we realised we received no fittings or manual of how to fit it for it. Guess what they did? They put loose screws into an ordinary envelope, which then went through marking/sorting machine at the post office depot and so 1 screw arrived. This was after a week of chasing them up for it (as they weren't even sure it should have fittings!!) and i couldn't be without the screen any longer so went to B&Q with that one screw and asked them for help.
The fitting that arrived with toilet snapped while fitting and so it meant another trip to B&Q.
Overall - price is good, but if you have complicated order like me (I had nearly all of the bathroom from there) make sure you have EVERY BIT (meaning opening the boxes and checking against the instructions) before you start otherwise you will end up with unfinished job.0 -
Thank you for the replies. Although you had a few problems Any, all in all I am pleased that you and corrsy gave favourable reviews for this company. I am hoping to get the entire suite from them and a chrome heated towel rail. I'm happy to pay £35 delivery at those prices! I still get the lot for less than the price of the bath alone elsewhere.0
