Just a quick note for u all 2 b aware of relating to Alliance and Leicester.....
Opening their new premium current account DOES give you £100 but switch to another account straight after!!!
This is because they do not pay SS or DD when money has credited the account on the due days of payments...leaving u to then manually pay the DD's each month!!

Most accounts now require you to have the funds in place the day before payments are due.0

Anyone have any experience of leave A & L when they have paid the £100?
I have recently received the £100 but have become so frustrated with there poor faster payment service and online layout of balances/transactions etc that i want to leave.
Is there a minimum period you must stay with them before leaving? Just don't wanna get hit with any charges?

Hello. I have opened (then closed) cheque accounts with them twice in the last 3 years. I got accepted last week for another account. Close it when you want. It just shows as SETTLED or SATISFIED on you credit report! The bank incentive you received makes no difference! Hope that helps.0
