Saving for a wedding under a year away

Hi
Can anyone offer advice. We're saving for our wedding which is likely to happen early next year, so under a years time. I wanted to open a savings account to do this and wanted one that we could earn interest on if possible, but as we're going to save for less than a year, is that possible? What's the best way to save?
Thanks

nearly all 'easy access' accounts accrue (earn) interest on a daily basis
some add the interest to the account on a monthly basis, some on a quarterly basis, some on a half yearly basis and some on an annual basis
in all these case, even if you empty or close the account before a year is up you still get all the interest earned up to the time you close the a/c
so virtually any easy access a/c will do (with of course a decent rate of interest).0 -
Buy Premium Bonds & at least you have a chance (outside) of a big win compared to the ridiculous interest rates on offer.
N.Never be afraid to take a profit.
Keep breathing.
Just because I am surrounded by FOOLS does not make me wise. :j0
