Im currently on the save online tarrif (dual fuel) which ends 1st October
Weve just mvoed house and transferred the account to the new place (gas has already switched not sure why electric hasnt as was told electric was switching before gas - will ring in a bit to find out)
But my query is should I fix again
Ive noticed that the new save online tarrif you cant collect tesco points with, which is a big blow for us as we get a lot of points that way..
It seems that that is the only option available though at the moment (maybe cos the electric doesnt seem to have switched??)
Am I right?

Hi clairet707,
Transferring supplies from one company to another is a process that involves a lot of electronic data being exchanged; each fuel is separate and transfers individually.
It is not uncommon for one fuel to complete the transfer to the new supplier before the other.
If you have joined E.ON on one tariff but do wish to change this to another give us a call and we can arrange this immediately. You may wish to check the electricity transfer is running normally as well.
If you’d like my assistance with any of this please email me via the address in my profile, I’d be happy to help.

Hi Clairet 707,
Eon rep can't say this coz he can't sell on here but I am on Eon' Fix on Line v.08 and its really good. Get on it asap as it wont last forever. Wholesale gas prices have risen 45% in the las10 weeks and I estimate that this will filter through by Autumn into price increases from all Suppliers. Eon wont charge you a penalty for moving to one of their new tariffs so get on with it quickly before they withdraw v.08 and replace with v.09. Chase them up about your sswitch asap
Good luck and I hope this helps0 -
Well ive gone onto my online account today and my electric is now showing up as well (suprise suprise)
Am switching to the fix o v8
the 18% discount i think covers the tesco points (and as the prices are the same as Im paying now - Ill actually save money!)0 -
I'm thinking of changing from Npower standard to E.ON OnlineSaver 3.
I've only ever been on a standard tariff.. with the onlinesaver tariff, what's the difference.. is it just that you don't get paper bills.. or is there any other differences?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
Hello fuzzgun19,
To be eligible for the E.ON SaveOnline 3 tariff, you must register your account online and pay by Fixed Monthly Direct Debit.
Registering your account online basically means you won’t receive a bill/statement in the post. We’ll send you an email whenever a statement is produced which lets you know you can log in online and view it. We’ll also send an email every quarter to ask for meter readings. However, this doesn’t mean the meter readers won’t visit.
I’d recommend checking one of the third part websites to make sure it’s the best tariff available to you.
Thanks
