  • Yeah i just went on there and saw that message too. The lengths my husband went to to enter it had us in stitches. I am the true comper in the family but he occasionally gets involved and couldn't pass this one up, but we were on holiday at the time. We went and paid for the holiday parks wifi but it was soooooo slow and kept cutting out so yesterday morning my husband drove around everywhere looking for an internet cafe with no luck, so in the end went and joined up in the local library and had to provide ID etc, he said he doesn't know what people would have thought if they'd seen him at the computer, he was sweating with nerves, hitting the keys as fast as he could, then when he'd completed it, he did a big "Phew"
Ha ha, how i laughed when he told me. :D

Your husband deserves to win for all the extra effort alone ;)

  • What kind of time do people think they completed it in? Just curious? (well my husband is bugging me to ask people!) Roughly approx minutes...

hmmm well i clicked straight though the directions so thats probably a minute , then waited the 30 secs for the pic, then answered in about 30 - 45 secs so maybe 2 - 2 and a half minutes

  • Oh dear, husband says he doesn't think he did it that quick, he thinks the directions he did in about 2 minutes. Do you think that if you have a faster internet connection that makes a difference then? He knew the answers so was doing it as soon as he could, but he says there was no way he could have done the directions bit in a minute. Perhaps it was a crappy internet speed? He says in total about 3 minutes.

im sure it was about a minute, ( i have a crappy speed too) i was just clicking left right etc as soon as it came up.
At the longest 1 and a half mins i reckon on the directions...
I think it seems longer when your doing it as your in a rush lol

I think internet and browser speed is probably a big factor in this....
    maybe i was 3 - 4 mins too...
i hope they tell us our times lol it would be nice to know how much we were beaten by for next time

  • I started mine at 23.15 and when i pressed submit it was 23.17, i timed myself from when i pressed enter in the email as i thought that was when the time started ticking, HTH.
:j It doesn't get any better than this :j
  • Thanks to previous posts in this thread, I knew what to expect in Stage 2 and I was prepared for my route throught the forks. I was clicking the mouse repeatedly for my lefts and rights almost before each turn had appeared so it was pretty much a non-stop drive to the cut scene and thanks to earlier posts I knew the quiz answers and clicked them as soon as the screen appeared without even reading the questions.

Also, a long time ago reading posts on this forum introduced me to the benefits me to Autofill tools such as Roboform for completing name, address and email fields when entering competitions so there was no need to type in all of my details manually.

Although I doubt I dropped more than few seconds from a perfect time, I'll bet that lots of other entrants are in the same position and many are probably are faster than me when clicking with a mouse!

Still I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one and if it's not me I hope this one is won by another MSE'r :)
