Dreamtrove - Personlaise badges - One to Avoid

Options
I thought I'd share my shocking experience of a company called Dreamtrove who specialise in producing persoanlised badges, or so i thought!
Its my hen night on the 10th July and I wanted to get everyone coming a badge with their name on it as lots of people won't know each other.
I chose a company called Dreamtrove, all the do is badges / rosettes etc and they make a big thing out of saying they can do personalised badges, all individual, no problem at all. Their website even advises that they can use your own pictures but dont crop them yourself as it is easier for them to do it and they get a better result.
I contacted them to discuss an order oer 2 weeks ago. All i wanted was the same picture on each badge (of me) and the name of each guest underneath it.
They sent me a mock up and the picture was tiny, over 50% of the badge was in background colour. As i had asked for the picture to cover the whole badge I asked him to re-do it again. Depsite a few chase e-mails he didnt bother to respond, so I rang him.
He advised that what I wanted was too difficult for him to do and he wasnt able to amend pictures! He then went on to say, when i challenged him, that he had been putting off looking at it as he already knew it was to difficult for him to do!
Luckily I hadn't paid him but now he has left me without badges and no time to get anymore made!
Dreamtrove - Avoid like the plague as they are incapable of offering the service they offer

    Hi,

Could you not make them your self? Shouldn't be that difficult? Go to arts & crafts shop - hobbycraft for example - as to the photo, well I am sure someone could edit in a photo program?
