Does anyone know what happens when Sky install a new line. I have just moved into a new build house which has a master socket that has never been activated, if I take a line install with Sky will the need to install a new master socket inside the house as i really don't want cables tacked over the walls etc, or is it just a case of Sky taking over line from BT, can anyone help as the call centre staff at Sky can't tell me. I remeber at Uni when we had cable installed they had to run lines and cables over the house and I really don't want this as we also have phone sockets in evert room, can someone who has had a line recently installed possibly help, sorry to ramble on as well.

Cable is a completely different set up so dont worry about that. It's BT Openreach engineers who do the work on behalf of Sky & usually, they just take over the line that's in place.0
