Hi,

Can anyone tell me whether the home improvements agency 'In Touch' is a member of (or regulated) by RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors)?

In Touch are apparently a 'specialist subsidiary' of Hyde Housing Assoc.

Thanks.

Have a look here... http://www.ricsfirms.com/ else give RICS a call.

I am not seeking a surveyor.

I want to know whether 'In Touch' is regulated by RICS.

RICS have asked ME for their (head office) address - which I have - so they (i.e. RICS) can ascertain their standing.

However, I am asking whether anyone may know if In Touch are regulated by RICS, myself - see my post above.

    Thanks.

Which is what my link answered if you followed it and used the search facility.. :wall:(there are more complex search facilities from the "search options" menu at top left).

If you want the definitive answer...assuming it's in touch support (northfleet, gravesend) then a Mr Alan Young of that company is the RICS member who is a Chartered Building Surveyor (search by filling in employer name here: http://www2.rics.org/MemberSearch/FindColleague.aspx)...

    Hi,

I'm sorry - I jumped to conclusions. I did the search as you suggested, and found something that could be relevant. I'll now look at your other link. Thanks very much for your help - it's putting my mind at rest.

Thanks for this - I think the In Touch in your example, may be another firm, (and not the 'In Touch' that is linked to Hyde Housing...?).

I emailed RICS and gave them the entry on their site - which you told me about - which confirms the address of the In Touch Regional Director.
