what benefits can my son claim?

Hi there.
My son is 16 years old. He has emotional and behaviour difficulties which makes him violent physicly and verbaly, depressed, self concious, cannot keep friends etc. He also has encopresis which means he soils in depressed or scared situations.
He has recently been perminant excluded from his special school for violent behaviour towards teachers. from 8 years old there was a claim for DLA but that was stopped in january because his school reported he had " a good day". We are waiting the decison from appeals but i was wondering if there was anything else he could claim.
My child benefit and child tax credit will stop soon. Iam on ESA due to depression, toxic thyroid and have a personality disorder, but this small amount of money ( £50 ) will not keep us.

Iam worried very bad indeed.
Any advice will be welcome

Surely it can't be a good idea for someone with these difficulties to leave education? Have you looked at alternatives?
