So much so that I will be moving the account over to them....if I can manage to get in the Barclays account.

All the high street banks are a bit rubbish when it comes to charity/community accounts. Yes, they offer them, but the service that you receive is not great from any high street bank that I know of.

You are much better going for a specialist charity/community organisation bank - for example, CAF Bank (pay in via HSBC) or Unity Trust (pay in via the Post Office, or nominate a local bank branch to pay in at).

I am involved with several small local charities. Those that have accounts with high street banks have problems. Those that have accounts with CAF or Unity Trust do not.

Well I didn't expect the amount of abuse I was receiving for a start.
I understand all the Data Protection aspects, but I felt I did identify myself suficiently having answered 6 previous questions correctly, I fail to comprehend still why ask me a question which I clearly could not answer.
It's not as if I was asking for a new debit card, all I wanted was a new Authentication card, it is still secure as I still have the pin numbers required for the card. But I guess this will now change also.
I feel that Barclays security is way way over the top, I don't have any sort of issue when asking for items from my personal account with Lloyds, and yes I am happy with their security protocols. So much so that I will be moving the account over to them....if I can manage to get in the Barclays account.

He's reading from a script. He has to ask you these. He can't just say "oh no I'll ignore all the secruity and just let this person on the phone have what they want".

Your view is exceptionally arrogant. You were extremely rude to Raj for no reason. He is doing his job. Would you expect someone to shout, scream and curse at you because you aren't getting your way?

You know what sort of person that screams and shouts when they don't get their way? Toddlers. And you acted like one.

You need a slap of reality and a slap of bloody manners.

It's part of their job training sunshine......off you pop;)

Maybe if people like you didn't abuse them then they wouldn't need such training? :)
