Fox mess

Ok, this is possibly one of the weirdest threads but I have a real issue with Foxes doing their business in my garden and the smell is awful. Does anyone know of a way to stop this happening? I realise that I can't really stop the foxes getting into my garden but is there a product (pepper spray, one of those mosquito boxes) that can deter them from my garden in general.
For those that have experienced fox droppings will know how bad the smell is. It stinks more than the recent England performance!

i may know the answer, but one smell may be swapped for another less pungent. basically spread MALE URine around the perimeter of the garden in copious quantities and the fox will not want to come in.-works a treat !"if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170

Brilliant stuff. I think I'll try the lion roar option first (although the thought of being allowed to urinate in the garden is tempting!!)0

As much as you can supply by the sound of it.0 -
oh dear oh dear.
I did read somewhere once that by placing lion or tiger turds around the perimeter of the garden would deter any little creatures venturing into your garden.
Though I can see the drawbacks for this option, unless of course you live near a zoo or wildlife park.
On a brighter note I suppose its lucky that urine also works instead of number 2's , It could be quite embarressing for you if your neighbours saw you laying a log in your garden every day for a weekThe advice I give on here is based on my many years in the preservation industry. I choose to remain anonymous, I have no desire to get work from anyone. No one can give 100% accurate advice on a forum if I get it wrong you'll get a sincere apology and that's all:D

Theres a better way - YOu can get water guns that connect to a hose and have movement sensors on them.
When an animal comes into the area they are covering they hit them with a shot of water and it moves them on.
They cover a specific area like a intruder nightlight so 2 or 3 at specific points could cover the whole garden.0 -

Heard this too...though I think that the big cats produce even stinkier mess than foxes.
Wondering it the ultrasonic cat deterents work for foxes? Might be worth a go.
