Pooky,
When I used to get sciatica really badly this is what I used to do as suggested by a physio...
lie on a bed on your back with the side that is not affected on the edge-then drape your other leg across your body so it hangs off the bad (cross it over your body) This will help to release the nerve. Does that make sense? Give it a try!!! xEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -

Morning
I have got my induction day today even though I have worked for the Council for 8 years. I still have to do it because I am a new emploiyee for the management company. Still it is a day out of the office and apparently there is a bus tour of all the estates which I probably know as well as they do because of visiting tenants in their homes!
I have been feeling so bad from withdrawal symptoms of my anti depressants.
Has anyone else been through it because I would like to now how long it lasts?
Have a good day everyone - enjoy making that elderflower champagne Pepe - sounds good!
I've had withdrawal symptoms, but I can't remember how long they lasted. Maybe you could talk to your GP about coming off them slower?im a bit worried that I might be getting arthritus...my finger joints are really painful today. My dad suffered terribly with rheumatoid arthritus
Hugs x
Afternoon all. I'm not doing much today, just reading and stuff, then at about midnight I'll start doing housework, it's the only time of day it's cool enough to be able to do anything!
Sally, will you be coming to the Bristol meet?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Have you come off them cold turkey or have you gone through a weaning off period led by GP? I only ask because I came off cold turket last October and in the December had a MAJOR crash, worse than I had ever been. When I weaned off them properly I didn't get any side effects...Bunnyinthelights wrote: »Tenmah-I second what Luc said-I can off them gradually after my PND after DS-I suppose how long you have been on them and what actual Anti-d's you were on...I was on prozac and got the wobbles a bit-I mean in a literal sense-the world went like I was on a boat...I was only on them for a short period as well...6 months or so.I've had withdrawal symptoms, but I can't remember how long they lasted. I was on Citralopram for almost six years. My doctor suggested I go from 20mg to 10mg for a month and then just stop taking them. For the last week of the month I was taking them every other day as I thought stopping dead might not be the best thing.
I am having the worst dizziness ever with head shocks as well.
I might go back to the doctors if it doesn't get better but don't really want to go back on them having managed to stop taking them.
I don't feel any different in myself mood wise, it is just this dizziness that is so horrible.OD [STRIKE] £2600 [/STRIKE] £0 :j Loan [STRIKE]£9500.00[/STRIKE] £0 :j Car [STRIKE]£3150[/STRIKE] £0 :j Moving Costs [STRIKE]£1300[/STRIKE] £0 :j Savings £1150 :j

I know that is a side affect Tenmah-like I said, I had the wobbles. Was a bit scary...
Maybe you could take half a pill every other day?
Sorry you are feeling poorly xxxEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
