Hi Everyone
I am a looking at buying a house that has been repossessed. It is a flat conversion project. There is some work that needs finishing, mainly a support wall that needs to rebuilt partly, and moving a bathroom.
My mortgage co have adv me that the property needs to hold up to valuation and be habitable. We would move in and do the work, but need to get the mortgage first - does anyone know the criteria needed for being habitable??? There is a vertical support strut in place due the part removal of the supporting wall, which supprts the ceiling, i was planning to build it back up, remove the support. all walls are boarded and plastered, has heating, electric and water?
thanks

I am not sure, but being habitable to me implies that it has to have (working) bathroom and kitchen.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
