    Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
    • This month's prize must be booked by 30 June 2011. It is based on a standard double room, accommodation only. A maximum of two nights can be requested per hotel, per stay. Two weeks' notice must be given.
    • Do not contact the hotel directly for booking. Other than where specified, all food, beverages, taxes, and other incidental costs are not included and must be settled by the guest prior to departure from, and direct with, the individual hotel. Once confirmed, no alterations or cancellations to the booking can be made.
    • Small Luxury Hotels of the World has the right to update these terms and conditions. The prize will be governed by the terms in place when it is claimed.
    • The following applies to all competitions: calls cost 25p from BT landlines. Calls from other networks or mobiles may vary. Calls made after the closing date will not be entered but may still be charged. Calls are handled by Telecom Express, 7 Swallow Place, London W1B 2AG. Unless otherwise stated, winners will be picked at random from all correct entries received once lines have closed and the deadline for postal entries has passed. Prizes must be taken as offered, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Entrants must be 18 or over and must not be employees (nor the family of employees) of John Brown, the John Lewis Partnership, competition sponsors or anyone professionally linked with the competition. The promoter of the competition is John Brown. Only one entry is allowed per person. Multiple entries, submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems, are not permitted and will not be entered into the draw. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed, mislaid or damaged in the post. Proof of posting will not be regarded as proof of delivery. Illegible entries or those not in accordance with the rules will be disqualified; any entry containing false, incomplete or misleading information will be ineligible for entry into the draw. By entering the competition, competitors will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules. Prizes are subject to availability and do not include unspecified extras such as travel insurance, which winners must arrange themselves, or travel to and from international departure points in the UK.
Any entry which contains false, incomplete, or misleading information will be ineligible for entry into the draw. All entrants must be 18 years or over and may submit only one entry per person. Multiply entries submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems are not permitted and will not be entered into the draw.

It doesn't look like you can get direct flights from the UK to Alaska either.

The online Ts and Cs are different to the ones in the Waitrose mag - I think they must be for a different comp
    The mag says:

    Main points:
    - return flights from the UK are included
    - the accomodation on the ship is a balcony stateroom
    - 7 nights on the ship plus a 4 night land tour to the Denali National Park
    - Departure for the holiday is 27th May 2011
