morrisons mega bargains

My mum has been shopping at morrisons and told me that when she went in there was a shelf of different items and when she inquired it was 10 items for a pound anyway decided to go with her the other day and sure enough there was a shelf full of stuff i checked and it was 10 items for a pound, these items are things like dented tins or bent boxes or no packaging,this is what i got:

one of those super mop things where u put domestos inside it priced at £12.49
box of honey monster cerial
box of ten cartons of pop
apple juice
box of irish cream chocolates
butter shortbread
can of pepsi twist
galaxi chocolates
can of soup
pasta quills

not bad for a £1 dont you think?
anyway this was in sheffield so dont know if they do this at all the stores

I wouldnt recommend buying the dented tins, I have heard you can get lead poisoning from them!!!

I was in Leeds Merrion Centre at around 12.30 today amd could not spot any megabargains there. Their BOGOFs as usual were great - I'm sure they do more of these than the other big supermarkets and usually goods which I want to buy anyway.

I went to the Halfway store, but didnt see anything like this in it. Did buy the BOGOF flour tho, ready for Pancake Day on Tuesday.

I remember my Mum saying this years ago.

I think today's tins are made from a different type of material than those of years gone by.

Not sure if this still applies? If it ever did?
