Is an 02 dongle worth selling

Options
I bought an 02 dongle for £19.99. I needed internet access urgently and I bought one months access for £15. The access lasted less than 2 weeks. Turns out it is still a data useage allowance. Its verry hard to understand how much every action on the internet is worth in data useage allowance terms. Now I am left with a dongle I don't want which cost me £20 and which is now £9.99 from the online 02 shop. Seems to me its virtually worthless for me to sell on?

TBH I don't know if your dongle is just worth anything, but for future www(.)thinkbroadband.com (sry, can't post links) have a broadband meter (free) that tells you how much you use in a day/week/month

Thats helpful thanks. Can use that for my broadband with sky to stop me going over the allowance for free broadband?

IMHO,It's not worth much considering the p**s poor coverage of O2 dongle compared to other networks.I'd love to use a O2 one when I go away with the TA but because of the coverage,it's not pheasable for me.

Yeah, it'll be handy for that. You'll need to install it on every computer on your network though, it'll only monitor usage for the machine it's installed on.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

Which model is it? It may be unlocked, in which case you can use another network more suited to your usage pattern and use it when you go abroad...or if locked, you can unlocked for around £7 and do the same.
Once unlocked, you can try to sell it on eBay as it will have a higher value unlocked. As it can then be sold and used worldwide.

Donnie is right that the O2 modem is likely to be unlocked, its always worth keeping for emergency as you could buy a Sim for it from ebay as you can still get the 1GB vodafone SIM that doesn't expire after a month or a '3' one with built in 3GB or 12GB data allowance.
