sky are they on the fiddle or what.

Had a problem with sky+ .The box wouldnt accept comands from the remote worked ok without it though.Called sky went through the usual wait then had to perform some tricks for them in my lounge before they agreed with me that there was indeed a fault on the box ,as the little light was not lighting up when the remote was pressed.
The only way to fix it was by a service call,it took em 20 mins to agree with me but we got there.
Engineer telephoned at 10am on fri to say he would be there between 12 and 3.My daughter is 14 and of school so she waited in.
Guy came out said box was broke ,swapped it ,still didnt work so he then swapped the remote and it worked.
He then left with a perfectly good box which is only 7 months old he knows its ok and full of films which I have now lost.
