new cover for polytunnel,scotland
Hi,
i am lucky enough to have got an old frame for a small polytunnel - approx. 2m800 long, 4m800 over the top, 2m high.
i have started looking on the internet for places to buy a new cover or polythene to cover. The charges for cutting a small amount and the postage is just about the same cost as the polythene !!!
does anyone know if there is anywhere if Edinburgh/Fife area to buy the right type of polythene ?
any handy hints on how to do it , what to look out for if you've already done the job ?
my DIY skills are pretty basic but keen to have a go to get a place to grow tomatoes.
thanks Anne

Easiest way to do it is to get two 2.8 pieces of fairly sturdy wood(pressure treated) one of each side of staple the polythene to the lengths of wood warp the polythene around the wood a few times. Screw bit of wood on side to the poles at the base. then stretch over wrap the the polythene around the wood on the other side till tight then screw/bolt into the poles.0
