For thsoe concerned about getting a new passport in time I have to say I was very impressed with the passport service. It only took a couple of weeks to get back to me and that's without the Post Office check and send...:j
Still hate my passport photo though, it looked fine when i sent if off but they make them even whiter now when they scan them in so a ghost has more colour...Plus the new embossing is terrible, it looks like it's done with sitcky back plastic, my nieces could do a better job...

I agree that the service is good, the cost however has gone through the roof!
I am currently renewing my four year old's passport - and the cost for a simple 5 year renewal is £49. The cost for a normal ten year passport is something like £78. It's more than doubled in price over the past 15 years."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0
