Thanks for this, although one money saver I have not noticed anywhere(?) is the tip of making your ba bookings through the airmiles site if you intend to pay by credit card. Prices are the same, but BA charge £3 per ticket, airmiles do not. Same BA "ticketless" ticket at the end of the process, all fully accessible from BA site.

I have noticed some "errors" on the BA offer website.
Flights to Barcelona, listed as from $25 one way, I booked a flight there and back and got them for a total inc taxes of $39.40!
The only other one I looked at was Gatwick to Thessaloniki, listed as $39 one way, flighhts there and back for total inc taxes of $71.70

    Thanx for this rosegarden,
I've been waiting on a good flight for Cape Town for January,
About 6 weeks back it was showing £600 dearer than todays price!
An extra £600 spending money now!!!

But first, the most asked question:

Q "Is anything worn under your kilt???"

A "No. Everything is in perfect working order Thank You!!."

They aren't errors, they are just the out bound prices.

  • From experience ...

I booked two flights with BA during their last sale (via Expedia with hotel) for early next year. Great price but BA have now cancelled the flights and said I either have to travel four months earlier or travel somewhere else and pay an increase in price...

I think the BA flight sale is great and will probably book a few more cheap weekends away but always worth remembering that BA are just as likely to cancel flights booked well ahead as any of the low cost airlines...

  • hi - no it wasn't a GB flight (I know from experience they start and stop routes at the drop of a hat!), it was a BA operated flight to Vilnius, in their most recent spate of deals... gutted really, looked like a great place to visit too!

There was at least one error on the site yesterday morning - I selected LHR-MIA flights @ £190 each way, but got a total return fare of £290!

londonlad35, I think you have been misinformed, or at least, not informed of all your options.

You may re-book for any flight up to the end of October on BA. Alternatively onto a service to either Riga or Warsaw. However, if you still wish to commence your journey to Vilnius, BA will rebook you onto a flight by flyLA - Lithuanian Airlines. If you are not happy with any of these options, you will receive a full refund instead. I think thats very fair. PM if you need more help.
