    Evening....

(((hugs))) for bookie & anyone else in need.
Scaredy, hop the cat is ok.

It's raining here, at least I won't have to water the few plants tonight.

Ames, I can't believe your neighbours would be so rude...although our house is described as "derelict" and my dad always wipes his feet on the way out :D

Just had my tea, a tin of Heinz beans, eaten cold from the tin

Probably, it was behind a bolted gate down the side of the house.
I thought I heard the gate bang a bit back, but I didn't know his bike was here.

OH shot off in the car with them to have a drive round, he's just come back in a strop as there was not much diesel in the car....oops.....that was my first job in the morning. He's now gone to take boyfriend home.

I suppose I should offer to get him a new bike.....more expense....

    Sorry about the bike whatatwit.

The girl who was talking about it has learning difficulties of some kind (I don't know her that well) so I can understand why she said it, it's just annoying that it happened when I'd already made plans to get on with sorting it all!

Wouldn't it be covered on his parents' household insurance?

Does your home insurance cover bikes?

I would personally look on freecycle or the local ads in the supermarket, unless of course it was a Raleigh super bike costing hundreds, not likely to get one of those for nothing.

Is it worth reporting it as stolen?
