Moving from NI to Manchester for Uni

Hi all, not sure whether this would be the right place to post this but here goes:
I'm planning on moving to Manchester to do a postgraduate course, and my partner and I are having trouble figuring out how to move stuff from where we're staying in Belfast to Manchester, we want to move a desktop computer (no monitor), a 32" flatscreen tv, and boxes of clothes over, just wondering if anyone has any advice on which couriers to use, or if there are any better ideas.
