What to do with not so old boiler?
We bought a 1965 semi and there was a large airing cupboard in the bathroom containing the hot water cylinder. Due to lack of space we decided to take it out, remove the airing cupboard and install a combi boiler in the roof.
All done now, however the boiler that we removed was only 3 years old BG 330 condensing type (tho for a gravity fed system) fully serviced and there is nothing really wrong with it.
I feel it is a shame to put this in the skip. Can we donate it somewhere? is there a nanny-state laws preventing us from giving it away to someone who might need it?
