What to do with not so old boiler?

We bought a 1965 semi and there was a large airing cupboard in the bathroom containing the hot water cylinder. Due to lack of space we decided to take it out, remove the airing cupboard and install a combi boiler in the roof.

All done now, however the boiler that we removed was only 3 years old BG 330 condensing type (tho for a gravity fed system) fully serviced and there is nothing really wrong with it.

I feel it is a shame to put this in the skip. Can we donate it somewhere? is there a nanny-state laws preventing us from giving it away to someone who might need it?
Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!

The scrap metal is worth something. Scrap merchants.

eBay? Somebody might want the heat exchanger, gas valve for spares.

As above or sell it in your local classifieds, auction etc.

Is it of use to any of the charities, either with local premises or those which send aid over seas?
