i have had my laptop around 3 years now with the original battery,
this only lasts about an hour.
I could do with one that lasts a lot longer, can anyone
tell me where to look, how much am i looking at for one.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

A new one will last a lot longer than 30 minutes. Ebay or Google will give you plenty of results.

Erm...it's not my laptop, how would I know?. :p

How many cells do you have now? Look at the mAh figure. How long did it last at best when you first used the laptop?
I'm not altogether sure the 9 cell is rated at 7800mAh. Maybe 6600mAh. But if it's rated at the higher figure that will be a bonus, especially at that price.

Some simple mathematics may give you an idea. There may be 12 cell batteries around too. If you can find a reliable supplier..

We have a little independant shop in town, i will try there.
Last month when i needed a power supply i went to Currys, compatible ones were £60 upwards, Proper ones were £140 plus.

Went to this little shop and the real thing was (new) £35. Currys will never get my custom for anything ever again.

    Thanks for your help
