Ebay's good, there are a lot of people breaking laptops for parts.
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it

Do you need the whole keyboard or just one or two keys? There are plenty of sellers like myself who sell individual keys. Once you need more than around 5-10 though, its worth buying a complete keyboard. New, they tend to be around £50 from the manufacturer.

lol. I actually need the whole keyboard. Have found just one on ebay for £28 but it comes from Hong Kong and wasnt sure wether to trust it or not. Have also found another on Amazon for £40.00. Any other websites i can try?

Depends what laptop it is, I got one for a Toshiba L30 for £13 delivered , do a search on you tube and it will more than likely show you a video of how to change it over:)

the cheap hong kong job will probably be fine, keyboards may be 'fiddly' and have a load of small parts but they're very simple things at the end of the day and it's pretty hard to go far wrong making them.

Buying direct from the manufacturer will see you paying £50-60 over the odds, the amazon guy is probably just reselling the hong kong ones with a £20 markup :p

EDIT: as per the above post i'd hunt a bit more on ebay, £15-£20 is what i'd expect to be paying unless its a very obscure laptop model

Heh-heh. Actually I've been very careful - much to my annoyance as I'm in business to make money:D.

Using my user name or who people seem to think I am will get you nowhere in finding me on eBay.

Its a Samsung r510. Apparantly quite an old model :-(. I got the wrong model number with Amazon, so they don't have the one i want
