Anyone up for a HHC at 10.30-11?

I need to get a wriggle on, as now I've done the major decluttering, I should be able to get a lot of the list done. Don't know if I'll get a call for afternoon work yet, so had better make the most of the time I have at home. Have hung the washing out on the line, and hoping that the sun will bleach out the stains that the washing powder didn't touch.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Wey hey 5.gif5.gif

I have just decluttered my tax return online, :j I have been fretting about doing it for a few weeks now, over the weekend I gathered all the information I needed, and have just sat and done it, :Tonline seems to help me as you start with tick boxes for yes or no.

The long and short of it is they owe me money, :j:j:j which with my ebay and car booting money, pays for my flight this December plus about £280 or so towards my spending money, :T:T which is just as well as [STRIKE]junk [/STRIKE] items of interest for ebay and car booting stuff is all but finished, as I have sold out. :rotfl:

If I had known they owed me money, I would a) have got on with it sooner, b) not spent so much time over the last few weeks fretting about it.

I wish I had the luxury of being up as early as you guys, I was coming in from work at that time
Due to my early/late sleep I will be flying at a sedate pace, mostly reading my book.

Had some good news while I was away at the weekend. When they sent OHs job offer out they got it wrong...it is meant to be a PERMANENT contract! He doesn't care about working at his chosen school anymore, happy with his 2 and a half days a week and the knowledge we won't have to go through this job applying stress again next year.

    Right, today's list

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One
Open the windows and turn on some music!
    Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and top of any cupboards!
    Level Two
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
Sort out coats, shoes and bags
Clean any ornaments, glass, mirrors, pictures etc
    Level Three
    Check those smoke alarms!
Wipe sofas, paintwork and dusty places
HHC in the hallway.. vacuum floors/stairs, wipe paintwork, fling that junk mail!.. if there is a charity shop bag.. FILL IT!
Empty and wash out vacuum cleaner.. don't forget filters!
    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]Catch up on some calls/emails[/STRIKE] Just done it

Thanks to all for starting the thread. Hope all are well, and heartiest congratulations to us all for getting through another day....!

Yes, well, we ended up rearranging the bedroom on the 2 hottest days of the year. Every piece of furniture.
At least this means that the room's been thoroughly hoovered and the bookcase rearranged so it isn't quite so threatening. (Another bag of books to Oxfam) And the bed frame's been tightened.

Those lovely people from Ikea sent the replacement supports for the wardrobe rail, so that's been resolved, rehung or folded as needed:j

Apart from that, I've decluttered 6 hours of Glastonbury coverage off the hard disc recorder, mostly on fast forward. There were some lovely moments on the coverage, although the sound was a bit oddly mixed (Hi, JoJo!).

As far as flying is concerned, I'm doing what I can when I can as I take after my Mum and don't care for the heat, slinking from shadow to shadow... so goodness only knows what I'll do at the weekend when we're in Norfolk:D I mean, 2 entire rooms have been rearranged without decluttering so you can imagine there's still a few misplaced boxes... actually, don't imagine!
