    Afternoon everybody

At this moment it is a clear blue sky but very windy - up until half an hour ago it was raining heavily - coming down like stair-rods

Graaaaan got your pm - thanks honey xx
MraChaos hope the tooth/mouth gets easier and less painful very soon (((hugs)))
froddy well done to your Rainbows - sounds like a fun day - now get those reports done and dusted:rotfl:
Aunty we have gusts of up to 70mph here today - its wild - hope the greenhouse is salvageable. ETA oh no - I hope the plants have survived. (((hugs)))

carolinejane - dont waste your breath honey - she takes no notice and just likes to be rude and comes on here to stir things up. The lists are of a similar nature each week - thats the concept but the content changes as pigpen puts in the jobs that we so often try to avoid!!!!

mummyyof5 maybe you will have to continually nag for a week or two until she gets the message - i agree you shouldnt have to but some people take longer to get into a routine. And IMHO she should be doing more - its not a guest house its the family home and evryone should be doing a share - you need to delegate more honey!!!!

been to Church and have been roped in to help organise an open day in September - how did they know I like doing lists and [STRIKE]organising[/STRIKE] nagging everyone!!!:rotfl:

ok have had my lunch so must crack on - loads to do.

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Valli - help, I need you! I have scrumped 2lbs of cherries from next doors tree that hangs over my fence before the birds have them all and I want make them into jam. Any recommended recipes, and do I really have to stone them all? (and before anyone says anything I do have their permission)

Might take a wander over to the village communal orchard and see if any of the blackcurrants are left.

    Jo - happy birthday

cherry jam...yes you will need to stone them, really, unless you make cherry jelly (I did damson jelly last year for much the same reason)

or cook them then skim the stones off (but that will be hard - I count my plums then count the stones)

I haven't got a cherry-specific recipe, I would work as for plums tbh

caroline, a few weeks back someone had a pop at us in the arms and it all got quite heated. Since then AB has visited us on occasion. But as you will have seen not only do we support each other in our chores but also with other issues - we also have non-flying flyladies who are very special to us.
I for one have really valued my time on here and love the support we all get.
We also have specialists who can help out with specific issues  at the help I got recently
    *eyes wide open*lol
    ;);)
    but my lips are sealed!
