Johnson & Starley Warm Air Boiler. Series 2

Options
I know this is maybe a silly question but is it possible
to turn a pilot light down on one of these or is just a standard
pilot light.

The reason I ask is because over the warm weather the pilot light has heated the water up so much that i was able to run off a whole bathful of hot water (i used it obviously) but it just seems silly
to be that hot. By tomorrow morning it will be hot enough to wash pots in. ths happens every summer
I dont need the hot water really, we have a dishwasher and shower daily (no, not in the dishwasher-silly lol)

I have a plumber coming to fit me a new bathroom so depending on answers here I will ask him to turn it down,
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Not a silly question , wish I could give a sensible answer. My heating engineer has never told me about a 'summer' setting for the pilot light.
Is your plumber familiar with your boiler??

Will wait to see your findings.
