I feel that some posters are missing the OP's point - which I happen to agree with.
If you are simply surfing the net for information (such as a quote) there should be no need to go through the hassle of entering an excessive amount of information or creating an account (real or fictitious) as it is (a) simply not necessary e.g. mother's maiden name, (b) annoying and time consuming, and (c) often a scam to make money out of selling your details/bombarding you with spam - or both!
The fact that you can easily lie is, IMO, irrelevant.

They also asked me the MMN and I answered the real name of my mother... It has been crossed in my mind when they asked that, it's just a ridiculous question.0
