After seeing so many good reports, I decided to order some glasses from goggles4U.
According to the order status page, they were dispatched on 14th August, but I haven't recieved them yet. I have sent e-mails asking what has happened but I have not recieved any reply.
Has anyone else had a delay in recieving their glasses? I'm just wondering what to do now, as the lack of contact is bothering me.

Sorry to hear about your problems.
I've used goggles for about two years now (around three times a year) and never had anything get lost in the post - and so have never had call to contact them either.
My most recent pair was about four weeks ago. Received about 8-9 days after the 'dispatched' status on their website. I have had to wait upto 15-16 days sometimes as I think they get held up by customs sometimes.
They come in quite distinctive hessian bags all hand sewn and are all sent 'recorded delivery' as I have always had to go to the post office and collect them, as am always out when postie comes. So it sounds like your items may have got lost but tgoggles should be able to track it for you.
I know that's not much help, but be assured that goggles have not shown any dodgy or underhand tactics before and so you can at least be assured that you have been unlucky in the item going missing.
Send them another email, the parcels seem to be sent from Rashikstan (pardon the spelling), so if they're based in India sub-continent you may need to bear with them in terms of understanding your email, etc.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. I ordered a pair from them earlier this year, specifically because they offered glass rather than plastic lenses. The glasses that arrived had plastic lenses.
I complained and they agreed to remake a new set with the glass lenses I ordered. Like you they claimed they had dispatched them, but nothing had arrived, and it took several emails to push them into 'resending' them.
However the prescription in both pairs is very dubious and had I bought them from a UK optician I would not have accepted them, as they are essentially unwearable. I suspect that the problem lies with the fact I have a strong prescription and any errors are very significant and the good reports they get are from people with weak prescriptions where the faults are less obvious.0
