Experto Credite

Hi all

Anyone else heard of Experto Credite? Right after going BR I received letters from them that they'd bought my MBNA debt and started chasing me for it. I couldn't be asked dealing with them so I've just ignored them, but lately they've gone from mild nuisance to mild entertainment. Here's what they do...

They call about twice every two weeks (home & mobile) and leave messages not really saying what they want or who they are (but I recognise their number). Since I never pick up they started texting. At first it was straightforward 'call us know, it's regarding your account', but then they got more inventive. Some recent texts:

"Miss XXX XXXX our fantastic one off offer ends this week. Don't miss out! Call Experto now on 01189525300 quoting reference number XXXXXX"

"Mr Todd Lannie [not my name or gender], you could be a World Cup Winner with our limited discount offer. Call Experto Credite on 01189525300 to see what yours is"

"END OF MONTH SPECIAL!!! Miss XXX XXXX, call Experto Credite today on 01189525300 to find out how you can benefit"

Clever weasels aye? I wonder if you can report them. I've typed the phone number out in case any poor !!!!!! has received something similar and is googling to find out what their price is going to be ;)

In other news, waiting for ED within the week according to RTLU. Can't wait. Hope everyone's well.

maybe worth answering one of their calls...for entertainment value at least?

In fact, they may be so surprised that someone has picked up the phone, they'll be lost for words?

Anyhow, listen to what they say, then inform them the debt they have spent so much money on purchasing, is in fact a dud....but to please feel free to pursue further action...pretty please might help?
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......

Lol... 'Please don't stop texting, I get so bored at work!'

I'm moving soon (as soon as ED comes through hopefully) so they'll lose track of me. I'll just be left with their texts :) Plus, I'm thinking if I point out BR they'll only pass the debt on to someone else etc and I bet they won't be anywhere as amusing.

You could give Mr Paul Jenkins a bell and congratulate his office on purchasing a debt that is part of the BR :D

Strange, that websites claims dont seem to match companies house record for them, and there does not seem to be any record of them holding a CCL, which as they by debts i presume they should? Nor does there appear to be an entry with the ICO?

In what way doesn't the companies house record match the website?
