Oh dear...

I won a fiorelli handbag on Ebay for 99p + £4 p&p and waited 10 days then politely messaged the seller to ask when I can expect to receive it. The seller promptly replied :
im ever so sorry for the delay, however i decided to have it cleaned and it took forever to dry out.

I guess it's just a waiting game for me now - not sure what condition it will be in

I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

    Hi MM

Why don't you e-mail the seller back and advise them of your concern and ask them to e-mail you a picture of the item as it is now - drying out and before they post it - when its dry

Shouldn't be too long, especially if the seller is in an area with a hosepipe ban.

I wonder how long it will be before they message saying that unfortunately the handbag didn't take well to the wash & has been ruined, here's your 4.99 back?
What on earth are their dsr like for dispatch?

Hi thanks for your replies. I'm trying to remain optimistic but tbh I don't really expect to receive this item.

Hi Hermum, the seller has 14 FB and no star rating as yet. All her fb as a seller is praise but she has got a good price for all her items - until my 99p.

Seller reckons it should be with me before Friday.

Oh dear, there goes her DSR. I do hope that it's as fresh as a daisy when it gets to you.
  • Well, the bag arrived this morning and tbh it looks like it has not been washed. The giveaway is the smell and small pieces of dry paper in the bottom of the bag (probably from a spiral notebook) also lots of hair in the bottom. Otherwise it's a nice bag. I'm glad I received it in the end. Now all I have to do is ponder over the FB I'm going to leave, lol. x
