fresh holidays(aldi travel(onholidaygroup))

Hi everyone

Can anybody offer some advice???

We're due to go on holiday next month all booked and paid for online with credit card in march through
fresh holidays(aldi travel(onholidaygroup))
you can already see the problem i'm sure :s

the problems strated when they changed our flight times twice.....the times have been altered by 12 and a half hours both inbound and outbound....our child is still in school which prevents us from going at the new times.

bearing in mind had we booked these stupid middle of the night times we would have saved over £300 on the cost of the holiday:mad:

6 emails each, to several different addresses, for all 3 companies AND a letter sent recorded delivery!!!! absolutely no response from any of the companies?????

We also contacted the hotel as we had some special medical requirements we needed to discuss.........to our horror the hotel have no such booking GREAT we tried contacting the company again NOTHING

All we want to do is have the family holiday we've been looking forward to all year.
Where do we go from here???
Can we claim money back on credit card in time to rebook a holiday?

    Hi,

    I would suggest that this is a major change - but is this a package holiday? What is the webiste .... www.freshholidays.com - ? if so there is a number? If not a package, then you might be able to cancel the flights, but not the accommodation.

    Other option, take child out of school early.

    Try putting same query on holidaytruths.co.uk complaint forum.

    Yes thats the website tried ringin no joy they say email them???

    Nope - "Flights, accommodation and transfers bought through this website are not sold as a package holiday, and therefore do not qualify for ATOL protection. We offer Supplier Failure Cover which covers each component of a holiday up to £1500 per person in the event of any supplier failing. " from the fresh holidays website .... so you will be struggling ....

    How old is the child .... any chance of taking them out earlier - where are you going - have you looked to see if other flights available - use flightscanner ....

    We're not so much worried about having to take the ridiculous fights......its just annoying how we could have spent £300 less booking the flights they gave us instead of the ones we chose and paid for which were nice flight times. Our child is 6 and to have flights which mean we have to arrive at the airport at 4 in the morning is ridiculous especially when by choosing these flights in the first place would have saved us money.

    The thing thats worrying us is noone will get in touch with us or respond to emails, they put you on permanent hold when you ring, the hotel hasn't even got a booking in our name and its literally less than 2 weeks till we go.....i'm just dreading arriving at a hotel in a foreign country at stupid o'clock in the morning for them to say what room? what company? we don't know what youre talking about????

    We're only going down the 'can we get our money back' road and cancelling to try and prevent this......has anyone else been in this situation????

    If you ring the 0800 number what happens? I would tell them that you are not happy with the flights .... ask them to reinstate your original flights.

  • i'm currently going through the T&C's with a fine tooth omb yet again in preparation for more phone calls tomorrow going to give every number a shot
  • hi all just spoke to customer services at fresh holidays about flight time being over twelve hours difference from original booking they said sky airlines (thats who our flight is booked with) is closed today because they are moving ! i must be the unluckiest person in the world. lol
