Leckford Estate (John Lewis holiday homes for Staff)

Just wondered if anyone else had been to Leckford Estate in Hants? It's a John Lewis holiday venue for staff of JL and Waitrose. We are going end of Sept and wondered if anyone had any tips on things to see and do or stuff to take with? We have a 2 year old and are staying in one of the log chalet type accomodations.
