Cash Back on Utilities?

Hello,
I'm in the process of switching my utilities online for the first time but am unsure as to how some of these cashback incentives for certain companies work. By switching to a certain supplier i get £50 cashback, but how do i get that money? Is it acredited to my account or do i recieved the money as a payment?

Its credited to your account, it may take several months (3-4 months) to get cashback. Cant be more precise because it various on each cashback. Your best going with Quidco or Topcashback as they tend to pay more

Bare in mind cashback isnt guarnteed there is a small risk it may not work and also cashback is only one factor in going for a new supplier

It it's being advertised as cashback, it shouldn't be being credited directly to your utility account.

Cashback & comparison sites will credit it to your bank account or sometimes send you a cheque.
