  • Hi all,

I'd like to partake in this challenge and set my limit to £20, my debt is now under 10k it was 21k four years ago. Plus my OH and I are talking about moving, so it;'s; a double edged sword.

Yesterday I'm pleased to report was a nsd. Hopefully this will help me think twice about buying a magazine at lunctime!

  • Oh my, I just had it in my head that it was thursday so the week was nearly over and the thread had been very quiet!! Hmmm well I'm red anyway, spend £23 or so last night on drinks and took my mentee to the cinema which cost £14.90 including a drink!! I'll get it back, but not for a couple of weeks. Hmmm, no more spending this week!!

I really wish it was Thursday but it is not even Wednesday yet :(

Oh well the theatre tonight was great and I spent £17 on dinner which isn't too bad. It is going to be tight this week but who knows what can happen.;)

Welcome littlemisschocolate I have added you to the list. Well done on reducing your debt so far, keep us updated on how you get on over the week.

    Hi all

    Quick update:

Tuesday I spend £1.25 on a drink and some chocolate, yesterday was a NSD and today is looking like a NSD too :D.

So, I currently have £3.25 to last til tomorrow. Hopefully that will be doable. I usually have lunch out with a mate on a Friday, but looks like that's cancelled for this week...phew!

    Hi everyone

So far so good, spent £1.05 on ice lollies for my wee boy on Tuesday - both Wednesday and Thursday were NSD's :D

Looked in the fridge this morning tho, and nothing for my lunch!! So I'll have to buy sandwiches for my lunch but still hoping for a green week :)

    Hi All

Doing ok for my first week of this challenge, only £2.99 spent so far ..but... tonight is always a bad night. It's take away night and then I usually get a wee call to ask me to bring wine and snacks while I'm out. Will see what happens.

    Thanks

Hi all, well i had some unexpected spends , good job i put down £20.

Ended up taking DS1 to get a joke book for the talent show.
    So my list so far:-
    3 books for £5.99
busfares for me and 2 boys £5.00 ( i normally walk but i knew i wouldn't be able to get there on my crutches)
    pasties (DS1 & 2) £1.85
    Wilko's - £2.56 - pack lunch/ food for tea

So in total i have spent a whopping £15.40 , i am not impressed but that life. So i have £4.60 left for the school fare today.

Still within budget so its all good :T
