Do not use the 'go sun' in ballymena if you have kids

ALthough they state that the lunch buffet is £4.99 for adults and £2.99 for kids...when you get in there and your child is over a certain height they try and charge you adult rate??
My 12 yr old , according to them is an adult?
Their advertising only states adults/kids...no mention of height for the lunch buffet.

Come Monday, I am off to trading standards to pursue this, as the chap was so rude, and their advertising in the local paper, on their window, on their street states only their price.

The place itself is really run down and I would never eat there again. Definately NOT recommended.

This is true but I think the OP was getting at the fact that they didn't care about age and only relied on height! Car booster seats - yes, rollercoasters - yes, reduced price lunch

place has always been run down, I remember eating there over 35 years ago...I was still in my teens and in those days it was the only Chinese I can recall in the town...never was impressed with their standards. Travel a bit further up the road...there are some great restaurants in Antrim.

Ever try on clothes made in China, they're two sizes too small.:xmassign:

Anyhow, the water margin (well it used to be the water margin) in Ballymena does lunch buffets

The portion size from the Go-Sun in Ballymena isn't great. Normally you get a big plastic dish for take-out currys, etc. The Go-Sun gives you the same one as the rice is in.

The best Chinese in Ballymena is Red Peaches. They're the only restaurant/takeaway that serves the same food throughout. What I mean is, in all the other Chinese restaurants in the Ballymena area, you'll get inferior food in their take-away department, compared to their restaurant. In Red Peaches the food is the same.
