'Got u Covered' want £60~what to do?

Hello, my mother has recently had a phone call from a company called 'Got u covered' who are demanding money to 'continue' providing cover for her sky tv, she informed them that she doesn't have sky anymore and they didn't really want to know! They said for me to write a letter to them to cancel. I have checked and they took £60 in 2008 and tried again in 2009 but it didn't go through, this is why they are ringing!
I have read a few things on the internet and it seems that even if she wrote to them they would still dilly-dally! Do you think i should just contact my bank and explain that basically she has been ripped off as she definitely didn't agree to this!!
Please answer if you can!

Have they got your mother's bank details? Has she signed a contract with them? To be honest, it sounds as though they're chancing their arm as if they could take the money direct from your Mother's account they would, whereas the fact that they are calling suggests that they need something from you, in which case at least they are unlikely to get the £60 without her authorising it.0

Not entirely sure but is it possible a letter of cancellation would enable them to persue any monies outstanding for previous years? Basically taking it as admitting your mother had contracted them for the services?
I've never heard of them but then i've never had Sky TVYou keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Just did a quick search as i remember something like this being on Watchdog - that they were claiming to be from Sky. Cant remember all the details:
