If you have Steam, they're running a two-week sale on most of their games, with up to 75% off. It's amazing, but be warned, it may make you spend more money rather than less!
If you don't have Steam but enjoy video games, it's a free program that allows you to purchase and download games. It also includes achievements, friends-listing (so you can see what your friends are playing and join them in-game if you want to) and records your gameplay times. You can sign up and download it for free at the website above. I recommend it!

I have steam and agree that it is very good and they do have some pretty good sales, IE the TF2 sale for less than $3 lol
if they are your kind of games and can afford it then why not go for it, just bear in mind that unlike with most hard copies of games, you cannot trade in your unwanted games, I have the complete half life 1 pack (generations or something... it included cs 1.6 blue shift etc etc) and even though i dont play it any more i cant trade it in towards newer games0 -

yup, but when I say can get the THQ complete pack for £26 which covers 20 pretty decent games with an RRP of £200 tbh I'd rather pay the £26 and keep em rather than paying anything close to full wack so I can get maybe £2-£4 selling them second hand to line the pockets of 2nd hand game/ebay industries, at least this way at least some goes back to the developer and its worked out cheaper for me0 -

This is just an observation, but I have seen people selling their steam accounts on ebay, so you can get some of your money back when you have finished with the game.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -

and just because others do it doesnt make it ok.Steam_EULA wrote:This Steam Subscriber Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal document that explains your rights and obligations as a Subscriber. Please read it carefully.
1. REGISTRATION AND ACTIVATION.
Steam is an online service ("Steam") offered by Valve Corporation ("Valve").
......
You agree that you are personally responsible for the use of your password and Account and for all of the communication and activity on Steam that results from use of your login name and password. You may not sell or charge others for the right to use your Account, or otherwise transfer your Account.
no one really knows if steam actively polices this policy, but in case they do, do you wanna go through the hastle of ebaying it just to have an angry buyer and no money for the trouble?0 -
The buying and selling of steam accounts is very dodgy.
All someone has to do is sell it to you, say you've hacked them or something and Valve will give it back to them. Then there's the problem of them being banned from some games for cheating etc.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valve_Anti-CheatThey say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0
