Watched this this afternoon with my two girls.
I had to laugh when they wondered why they were complaining about the food - "what's wrong with them mum, we eat like that every day!" It made me very proud of my little old-stylers...although I will draw the line at making them use a chamber pot at night!weaving through the chaos...0 -
Would recommed We'll Eat Again: A Collection of Receipes from the War Years by Marguerite Patten it has some interesting articles/stories/press releases and receipes in it.
I had to make some receipes from it during my GCSE home ec lessons. Avoided the one with whale meat though
