Hi Guys
I was planning to go into central London to the Science and History museums (SW7 5BD) and was wondering if anyone knew of places to park for free on Sunday, I've tried looking via google but its a very mixed bag, a lot of streets have Sunday restrictions.
Any tips on good roads would be great
Thanks!

This thread has some good ideas.0

Hmm, someone suggested rutland gate but on google street view the signs say permit holders from Mon to Sun.
Is it ok to park on single yellows on sundays at any time?0 -
We went a couple of months ago and there seemed to be quite a few free spaces on a Sunday. I checked http://www.park-up.com first. When we got there we drove around for a bit and parked on Queensgate (south of the Cromwell Rd).0

Queensgate seems to have lots of bays, is it definitely free on Sundays?, I might head there first!
I cant make out the signs 0 -
Just read the signs, if the pay & display isn't active it normally means you can park on single yellows

It isn't all free on Sundays but some sections are, you have to keep your eyes peeled! The bit we stopped on was in the centre of the road but those along the pavement at that same point weren't free.dellboy102 wrote: »Queensgate seems to have lots of bays, is it definitely free on Sundays?, I might head there first!

Imperial College open their car parks for all day parking for £8 all day on a Sunday. The entrance is slap bang in between the NHM and the Science Museum IIRC. Otherwise it's probably 15 minutes walk from anywhere free to park. The man without a signature.0

I've always found this site good: http://www.parkopedia.co.uk/ Helpful to find the cheapest car parks nearby. No idea about free parking around there, sorry.0
