I always had such good skin that I hardly needed much foundation, and I've never used powder :) yet !
Always used eye make up though, and concealer.
It's a bit hard for me to get to a big shop with consultants though. I have to go to Boots or get stuff online.
I dont like this getting old bit. I'm just not ready to be a sweet wee old lady !!

Lol I'd be careful in your use of the word "wee" as time goes on! ;):o:D.
    :D I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe :D

Try Yves St Laurent's Touche Eclat. Only use it where you need to even out skintone.
Nice used with Eclat Minute Instant Light which gives a tiny bit of coverage and a lovely glow at this time of year. Very pretty.
ETA Lily Lolo do fantastic mineral powders. Much lower on the chemicals and the coverage can be increased as required. I love their brushes too.
I think it p!sses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it. People think pleasing God is all God cares about. But any fool living in the world can see it always trying to please us back.

Good for you. I love to see women who don't wear it, I wish I had the courage (and the eyelashes).

Can I ask the more mature ladies in here what kind of foundation they use and find best ? My skin has changed and I can't use my Max Factor any more. I think I need go for a very light natural look.

No.7 intelligent colour is fab (on 3 for 2 at the moment in Boots).

I've tried loads it really is the best.

It only comes in three colours (light, medium & dark). I use light & I am fair but it looks dark in the tube, but they blend into your skin tone.

I use Laura Geller 'Balance and Brighten' powder in fair. It's a powder/foundation combined.

    I love Laura Gellers blushers.

Also, don't forget that you are supposed to use foundation very lightly only were you need it and not to be used all over the face. However, if you use a a light foundation with a brush it will give good coverage. And try going without face powder as that can make you skin look less dewy..

I don't think you are right about that, foundation & powder are too be used (lightly) all over.

Concealers & under-eye brighteners & other correction products are to be applied only where necessary.

I'm also in love with her eyeshadows. Very easy to apply and blend and are very flattering tones,
