UK Honeymoon ideas - cottage that's catered?

Well the big day is in October, and I'm hunting out honeymoon ideas. We will have a 9month son by then, so have to plan him in (don't want to leave him behind for a decent length of time).
We both like secluded cottages, and I have found some nice ones that have character, and a big hot-tub (a necessity!) - but they all seem to be self-catered, or in the middle of nowhere.
OK, so I'm asking a lot - seclusion, but not too much.. somewhere a few minutes walk from a village with at least one pub and restaurant option would be ideal, otherwise are there any fancy places that will bring food round in the evening or maybe a group of cottages that share a dining room or something?
Location - not overly fussed, but Cumbria would be nice. Budget - well I was originally thinking a luxury tropical island honeymoon before the little one decided that he couldn't wait, so whatever we do will be cheaper than that!
Has anyone seen anything like this?
Cheers
Al

It certainly has the right idea - thanks for sharing!
Shame there is no spa/sauna... but the food looks great, and it has a pretty good location. It's definitely worth considering.0 -
We are having a cottage honeymoon in the UK, though we are self-catering. However when we were looking I did see this one:
http://www.treehouseholidays.com/
It's got a hot tub, surprisingly given it really is a treehouse, and the owners can arrange caterers and/or book restaurants for you. Being in Somerset it's a bit of a far cry from Cumbria, but thought it bore mentioning!
Another option: http://thelazyfish.co.uk/about.html
Says on the page "Why not pre-order a freshly prepared 3 course meal from our local chef delivered to your door to be enjoyed with complimentary champagne? A generous welcome hamper includes breakfast items so you can start to unwind the moment you arrive." Also has a spa pool (not a hot tub but close!).
Also: http://boutiquegetaways.com/gosselridding.html (Cumbria, private chef, local spa)
Hope that helps0 -
oh the catered cottage looks incredible xMarch 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000

Was looking at the Gossel Ridding one, balked at the 6500 price tag before seeing it was based on 12 sharing - bringing the in-laws is definitely NOT an option!!
The treehouse does look amazing - though a bit close to home, it could feel like a million miles away.
I did see the lazy fish a few weeks ago and wasn't overly inspired ( I think I was looking for more traditional cosy cottage, and this one is a bit mroe contemporary).. but seeing it again has made me think again. More food for thought!0 -
Hi there,
I'm not sure if it's the kind of thing you're looking for but I saw this and thought it looked fab.

Nowhere near Cumbria - but beautiful setting. Lovely little village, but close enough to be in civilisation quite quickly....
Private hot tub too in the Garden Rooms.....and I have seen these places, and they are immense. His and Hers Bathroom...
