Replacement Fuel Tank

I doubt the speediest garage could whip it on and off in an hour. On the Corsa B, it's the filler neck join that rusts on the mild steel tank. You need to remove and refit the exhaust to get to the tank. The man without a signature.0

Just a quick update, picked up a new tank locally for a little over £60 quid, found a garage along the road who fitted it today. Big thanks to all who posted and an extra thanks to the bloke in garage, said it would take two hours and cost £60, went to pick up the car and he said he managed it in an hour and a half and charged me £45 instead. Top bloke. :beer:0

Methinks you'll be using that garage again? That's my mutt in the picture above.0

Absolutely, good prices and honest, it's what everyone's looking for in all trades0

I would avoid the DIY route given the dangers involved with a petrol tank. If you do it yourself make sure you get your mate to check its all ok
