Hi,
Newphew applied for Premier 21 account 2 months ago. Account was opened, card and pin number was arrived but then he received a letter stating they conducted further checks and facility cannot be offered.
The problem before he received the letter I transferred £50 to his account. Now its over a month £50 has not been refunded back. My newphew sent a letter to A&L 3 weeks ago todate no reponce. He rang A&L customers service and they told him to contact applications 01908343925. That line only works between 9-5 monday to friday.
He will ring them on Monday but shouldn't they refund money without asking and for some reason they have not replied to the letter.
Any advice?

Did you send the letter recorded? You know what Royal Mail are like....100% G33K

I have sent it normal 1st class post. But to be honest I never had problem with Royal Mail Service. I think its A&L who has not replied but again as it wasn't recorded I cannot proof that they have received it.

We have rang 01908343925 10 times today but no success in getting through - keep on saying "application centre is busy call later"
Any suggestions what should we do next?
