hp 6735s help

hi i have a hp 6735s. the motherboard has died on me. where can i buy a cheap new one from and whats the name of the motherboard i should be looking for? i know nothing about laptops and dont what the motherboard is calld! any help will be appreciated.

    Unlike with desktop PCs, laptop motherboards are specific to the make and model, and generally aren't interchangeable (and btw a laptop motherboard is usually called a motherboard).

    You may find a cheap secondhand one on Ebay, but be aware that changing a laptop's motherboard is a non-trivial task (they often have loads of tiny screws and hidden plastic clips).

    Its a HP 6735...its not uncommon. Usually you can fix them by reflowing the solder under the main chipset IC.
