Sainsburys Money off Vouchers

Hi,

I have just received a batch of £5 off a £25 spend coupons at Sainsburys. Do Tesco still accept these, as we dont much care for Sainsburys.

My Tesco wouldn't accept the Sainsbury 'Pyrex' voucher from the Prima booklet but they have accepted other (direct from) Sainsbury vouchers so it's worth a try - nothing to lose! :-)

IME, yes, yes, yes, yes! Tesco even stick up posters outside saying they will take these ones.

I have even bought these on eBay and used them in Tesco (the surname is never noticed). In fact, last time I even combined several different named ones at once but I did feel I was pushing it and had a story ready about how I was doing my Mum's shopping, and the old lady next door's, and....etc.!

It's the Sainsbury's coupons out of the Sainsbury's magazine that Tesco don't like taking....BUT they do scan!! Just find a disinterested cashier (young male) and hand one over in amongst other coupons.

I've found mine - he's fab! Always takes more than the regulation 3 coupons but I don't take advantage honest ;-)

I have found several 'good' cashiers at my main 2 Tesco branches, I even know a couple of them by name and have a good chat (their both male but I wouldn't call it flirting, just diversionary tactics while they scan all my coupons!).

Have you tried using the sainsburys vouchers from the mags with the self scan checkouts?

I'm afraid the (young male) cashier thoroughly checked through all my coupons last week to make sure there were no Sainsbury ones as he said he couldn't take them.
