How can I get rid of green fly?

I watered my Aubergines today and noticed loads of green fly on them.Will they Kill my plant? Also how do I get rid of them?It's my first time growing this year so I don't really know what I'm doing.Thanks in advance.

    Greenfly killer: fine spray container, fill with water, dab of washing up liquid. Shake and spray dont know anything about Aubergines though but works for most plants

    This works well - another option is roasted garlic and water put into a spray bottle - I've had this problem with my peppers this year and from experience the plants need checking daily so that eggs that have hatched can experience the might of soapy/garlic for a good few days :)

    I go hunting for ladybirds and relocate them to the greenfly plant, they usually start devouring them straight away.
