Can anyone recommend a competent all-rounder for sub £50?

    I bought an Epson Stylus SX215 from Tesco online for £40, don't know if its still that price, its an all in one with 4 separate ink cartridges, a set of 4 compatibles on Amazon is about £10 or thereabouts.
    It does what I need it to do, so I have no complaints.

    That's almost an academic question - what is more important is how much you pay on an ongoing basis for the ink cartridges! That's where the money goes...
