:jMorning to everyone who posts (and lurks)! Thought I would start the thread this morning seeing as I'm up with the larks :D

Yay its the weekend :j two whole days of pleasing myself :D

So today I have to schedule in time to do fun things (oh not impressed with the things I wanted to do! spare room etc etc!) Still trying to keep list realistic, don't want to spend the day working, but the DFW stuff is soooooooo addictive, especially seeing as my DFD is sooo close I can almost smell it! :D
    • repot the plants have done one :o
    • [STRIKE]water all plants[/STRIKE]
    • spare room: [STRIKE]vacuum,[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]make up bed,[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]put up blinds[/STRIKE] just need to polish - talk about cutting it fine!
    • [STRIKE]fixed arcatrave in spare room[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]sorted through the freezer to work out how to use up stuff in there so & wokred out meals for the next 4 days[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]paid ds to clean fridge, sweep floors & empty bins [/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]go to tip with clutter that is just rubbish![/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]drop off a couple of bags at the CS[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]work out shopping needed & go to super market[/STRIKE]
    • play tennis :j
    • [STRIKE]maybe go for a walk[/STRIKE] walkeds 45mins each way to the pub ;)
    • watch a film
    • [STRIKE]maybe go for a drink this evening[/STRIKE]
    • list 2 things on ebay
    • [STRIKE]borrowed nbeighbours shears and cut back millitant hedge :D[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]made smoothies using strawberry & juice from work [/STRIKE]:D
    • [STRIKE]
    • just bought a book on Amazon ("Wife interupted" have wanted to read it for ages!) but used my Harris Poll gift voucher so technically it didn't cost me anything :j[/STRIKE]
ok so the list is small enough to be achievable ;) happy saturday everyone I'll check back later x

as predicted on Friday in a conversation with La E yesterday I was so fed up (time of the month when there's a high probability that I'm likely to be dissatisfied!) I was so full of wants - garden panels, garden redesign, whole new wardrobe - am totally fed up with not have any new clothes and my clothes really starting to look like they've seen better days.... oh well today's a new day ;)

Still quite a few bits to do off of my weekend list! But I have/will
    • [STRIKE]ham & yellow split pea soup in the SC[/STRIKE]
    • hm bread
    • [STRIKE]call friend to see about arranging to watch the football with her her & her oh (how exciting/nerve racking is it???)[/STRIKE]
    • make banana bread to use up elderly bananas
    • [STRIKE]make tomato tart[/STRIKE] (got pesto free from farmers market :D)
Lotte what a wonderful day to go to a gardewn wedding! Enjoy x

    Morning everyone!

We're going to a friend's house for a BBQ and the football this afternoon so have to be organised this morning and get the jobs done first.....
    • Walk dog before it gets too hot - done
    • One load of washing, dry naturally
    • Hoover and dust house
    • Do budget for July (not getting paid this month, school won't pay me until August for the supply stint, so all money comes from savings:eek:)
    • Sort through holiday clothes to see whether anything needs washing, mending etc - 2 weeks to go!
    • OH going to pick up new bike
    • Do a teeny bit of lesson planning - just 3 days in borstal training school this week:T:T
    • Have leftover pizza for lunch
    • Take meat and veggie stuff to BBQ - will drive and save on taxi fare
    • Do nails after housework is done
    • Tidy up pile of stuff congregating on coffee table
    • Make packed lunch for work tomorrow
That's it for me today - can't bring myself to say "Come on England" (being Welsh) but I hope you're not disappointed (OH is English and will be like a bear with a sore head if you lose!):D

Morning Everyone, lovely and sunny :jI could get used to this

I did a lovely long post yesterday and just as i was about to hit the submit button my computer shut off argh:mad:

So I stomped off in disgust.

    So I have/ I will

    Check online banking, still there:o
Lsd yesterday milk mushrooms and wipes

Had a lovely day yesterday, friend called in to pick us her ds and had a nice chat sitting in garden. Called into other friend had a lovely drink;) and she paid me some money she owed me so that is good. At dinner up garden and imagined I was on some fancy terrace restaurant; except I had to do the cooking. Then into the jacuzzi, bliss.

Today is more of a reality check. DH back at work

I have hoovered computer fans/vents (maybe why it is shutting down but could be dodgy power supply)

Washing finishing soon to put out on line Ongoing another machine full in
Have all info for ds claim, just need to type out in a presentable way
Dinner from storecupboard Sausage, egg and bacon
Do some much needed cleaning and tidying will not specify as there is so much of it:rotfl:Bathroom and downstairs loo done, and kitchen tidy, front room next

Back later maybe for motivational update.:)
My finances are work in progress.
    Normal veiwing will resume shortly

    Hi All

    Lovely sunny weekend :j

Not doing too many 'jobs' as DH only gets 1 day off a week which is today, so going to enjoy spending time as a family (and watching football of course - come on England!!)
    However, this weekend I have:

cooked some fruit and frozen for DD lunches
ordered some bargain strawberry plants on line - have been looking for ages for some good value and good yeilding ones and today I think I found them and they come with 3 planters, even better!!!
Bought some half price balls for DD ball pit from Mr T
Spent yesterday with ex boss (now v good friend) and her family, went for a long walk and a general catch up, which was wonderful :D
    washing on low dry outside
found a bottle of bleach lurking under the stairs - means I can cross it off this weeks shopping list:)

Right off to go and enjoy day... have a good one everyone

  • Morning all

Lovely day again, let’s hope it continues!

Had a lovely day at the wedding yesterday. Weather was gorgeous and venue was lovely. Feet suffered a bit though in high heels all day, so will be in flip flops all day today!

Got lots to catch up on today so that we’re ready for the week, so I don’t think there’ll be much MSE stuff on my list, but I’ll see what I can think ok/fit in:
    • Check bank – done, no change
    • All food from stores today
    • LSD – need to pick up some squash for the kids
    • HC & line dry, there will be lots of this
    • Ironing (it’s MSE if I don’t pay someone else to do it! :D)
    • Keep an eye on my 3 ebay items to see how they’re doing as they finish tonight (2 sold so far)
    • Sign up to the Weekly Spend Challenge thread ready for next week
    That's more than I expected :).

Other than that I’ll be cleaning the house and taxi-ing the kids to/from various friends.

    Enjoy the day everyone.

    Back later to catch up.
